It’s round 2 for the Superheroes region in the coolest thing ever bracket! Before you vote for your favorite crime-fighters, here is a recap of the first round:
1. Superman vs 16. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
MAJOR UPSET ALERT: The 16-seeded Ninja Turtles beat the Man of Steel in what was never a very close matchup. Will the world’s most fiercest fighting teens move on to the sweet 16? It’s up to you to decide. TMNT wins 12-8.
8. Green Lantern vs 9. Wolverine
It was the Justice League vs the X-Men in this matchup, but ultimately everyone’s favorite Aussie, Hugh Jackman was voted to be cooler. I promise I didn’t just rig it so Hugh Jackman would win. Wolverine moves on 14-6.
5. Captain America vs 12. Mr. Incredible
The first Avenger faced off against Pixar’s favorite hero, Mr. Incredible. In the end, Captain America easily moved on 13 votes to 7.
4. Wonder Woman vs 13. Dr. Strange
The upsets just keep coming in the superhero region, with 13-seeded Dr. Strange beating 4-seeded Wonder Woman 13-7.
6. Thor vs 11. Black Panther
Things go back to chalk as the Norse god Thor defeats the representative from Wakanda, Black Panther 12-8.
3. Spider-Man vs 14. Aquaman
To quote Raj from The Big Bang Theory, “Dude, Aquaman sucks!!” This was proven correct as Spider-Man runs away with this match 16-4.
7. The Flash vs 10. Iron Man
Our fastest hero in the bracket could not catch up to Iron Man in the voting. Iron Man pulled away at the end for a 12-8 win.
2. Batman vs 15. Mighty Mouse
The utter, raspy voice of Batman intimidated Mighty Mouse right away, and just obliterated him in the voting. Batman moves on 17-3.
