Inventions of the Future

Sketch Digitizer
Have you ever wondered, “Wouldn’t that be great if I could save this picture I drew and put it on the computer?” Well now you can with a new invention that Wacom designed, The Inkling. It is a two part system that has a sensor and a pen. All you have to do is clip the sensor to your writing surface. When you write on the paper with the pen, it sends out solar pulse waves. The sensor remembers exactly where you drew and how hard you pushed on the paper for width. You can then transfer it to the computer. It costs $200. To find out more on this you can go to

Energy Roller
If you like to play around with a ball and get free energy at the same time, then the Soccket ball is just for you. This is a half inch foam covered ball that looks like a regular ball from the outside, but in the inside there are magnetic rotors that charge up a 3.6 volt battery when you are playing with it. Also, it comes with a light that you plug into the ball. So after 30min of playing with it, you can go do your homework and have a lamp that lasts for 3 hours. It will eventually have a phone charger with a 3.5 millimeter jack built into it. Also, every ball that is bought, the company will donate one to a developing nation. This costs $125-$150. Bigger isn’t always better
When you are jamming out to your music on your iPod or mp3 player and you want your friends to hear it with you, but your device isn’t loud enough, then you need to get the Jambox. It is a six inch speaker that has better sound than any other speaker compared to its size. It can pump out up to 85 decibels or as much noise as some guitar amps. The reason this little speaker can pump out so much volume is because it has two midrange drivers with two magnets per bell. It is a device that creates more sound for every watt of power used from the battery. This speaker can greatly improve your music that you used to listen to through your iPod or mp3 player. It is $200 brand new, but I have found them online to almost as low as $100. To find more about it you can go to
