Last night, a fairly unknown MVL couple got engaged. Not MVL students, but two EFE students, Miss Unke and Mr. Rider. (Soon to be Mr. and Mrs. Rider)
They met at a Martin Luther College intramural volleyball game a little over a year ago and from there they knew that they were meant to be. Last night, Emily thought she would be meeting Jesse for dinner at Lola's, but that was only the beginning. Jesse set up many spots all over New Ulm with a letter and a gift. At the last stop, Jesse sang a song and popped the question. Of course she said yes!
They plan on having a long engagement and will get married summer of 2018. After they both graduate, they are planning on helping with Friends of China.
