Meet Desktop-Photo Team

     
Ninapenda Sauce ya Nyanya! I am Alex Gutzke, The Head of the Photo Department at MVL. My job is to send out other photographers, and myself, to gather content for The Charger Newspaper and The MVL Charger Blog. Together with Chip and Zay, we form the new triumvirate of Rome.  The others in the department of photography are Abby, Claire, Chantel, and Isabella. The process starts with making a monthly schedule to sign up for events. The next step in the process is going out and taking the pictures and compiling all of the pictures from the event. Then we have to edit the photos to get rid of bad ones and narrow it down to 50 or so of the best images. The editing we do is normally done in Photoshop or Lightroom. After the files are done, they are then sent out to the server in a secret location. We look forward to capturing the best moments of this year to provide the greatest photo coverage for the school possible. We also accept pictures from the student body outside the Desktop Publishing group, so if you have any be sure to get them to us!
