Tuesday, November 27, 2018, was Giving Tuesday at MVL. This event featured an MVL open house, which included tours of the building, students playing music, and much more. This event also provided an opportunity for donations to be made. For the special occasion, Thrivent Financial promised to match up to $10,000 of donations.
After the event, the following announcement was posted to MVL's Facebook page:
MVL #GivingTuesday 2018 was a day to remember! Our goal of $10,000 was well exceeded, meaning MVL will receive an additional $10,000 from Thrivent Financial. This outpouring of gifts is overwhelming and humbling. On this day and always, thank you for supporting MVL in our mission to train students for Christian lives.
