History Tour; Niagara Falls by Julia Wendland

E
very summer there is a trip that the soon- to- be seniors take starting in our very own Minnesota, visiting various places along the way including Pennsylvania, Washington DC, and of course, Virginia Beach. Our dean of students, Mr. Buboltz, has decided that he will let us know if the rumors about Niagara Falls being added to the next History Tour are true.
I hear that there is a possibility of Niagara Falls being added to History Tour, what’s the story behind this?
“We are adding Niagara Falls to the History Tour this year. The rumors are true.”
What made you decide to add NF to HT?
“I just felt it was possible by studying the map closer and working with our bus driver Dave.”
Were there any objections to this new addition?
“Not a single one.”
What can the junior students expect to experience if the Falls are added to the trip?
“We’ve got 3 new activities planned:”
1) Eating at the Silo Restaurant (famous from Man vs. Food)
2) Maid of the Mist boat tour.
3) Cave of the Falls Tour.
“We are going to get real wet!”
Will this affect the amount of days and cost of the Trip?
“Still a 12 day trip and the cost of the trip stays in the same amount as the past.”
If NF is being put into the Trip, can we be expecting anything to be removed?
“It appears the Naval Academy will be dropped.  We will be going from Philly right to D.C. [We’re going to] Downtown Philly [and then straight] to [the national] Night monuments.”
From these questions we can easily deduce that the next History Tour will definitely be a blast! Being able to visit Niagara Falls will also add some excitement for the future classes as well. Hopefully this will be a new location and success that stays with us throughout the years.
(Here’s a little sneak preview of what they will experience)
