The MVL volleyball teams took on the Wabasso Rabbits at home on Thursday, September 26th in a battle of undefeated teams. The C and B squad started off the night with both teams paving the way for the varsity. The Chargers varsity team played very
sharp in a 3 set sweep, fending off the Rabbits in 3 very close games. This was a great showing by MVL’s athletes with all 3 teams beating Wabasso. Mara Weisensel had a stellar week setting three school records. Tuesday, September 24th at Cathedral,
Mara broke the school record for career kills and blocks in a game. Continuing her excellent play Thursday night, Mara set the record of career blocks. The Chargers have been firing on all cylinders lately with amazing team chemistry, especially seniors
