With 47 seconds left in the game the Chargers were down 24-21 to Sleepy Eye Public last Friday. Now this may sound hopeless as you read it, but the Chargers were lead by leaders Mason Cox, Jace Marotz and Colton Collum. They impressed us all, as they drove 63 yards down the field and scored off an end zone pass to Colton Collum in 59 seconds, leaving 4 seconds on the clock making it impossible for Sleepy Eye to come back.
This is very special that the Chargers first win came in such a thriller of a game. This victory was lead by Colton Collum who housed a 80 yard kick return to score, with also a 14 yard touchdown to seal the game.
The Chargers are looking to build off this win coming into their homecoming game against TMB this Friday.
