The Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) has started to develop a plan to allow fans in for volleyball and other future indoor sporting events. The following are the guidelines for schools to follow to allow fans in:
- Each volleyball player will receive two tickets/vouchers
- Fans must stay six feet away
- Gyms can fill at 25% capacity
- Size of venue varies how many are allowed in
- Fans must be seated 12 feet away from the players
- 250 fan max (again, this varies due to different gym sizes)
- Fans must arrive at their designated arrival time to avoid everyone coming at once.
Because each player gets two tickets, it is expected that the vast majority will go to the parents. However, this is a great start in the path to getting games back to normal.
